Share the magic! ****** If you are a magician who started out int he 1970's or 1980's, you probably had a TV Magic deck -- Marshall Brodien did the first ever Magic Info-mercial and sold millions of Svengali Decks (a.k.a. TV Magic Cards) and also added on other decks, including the TV Mystery Cards, which was a Stripper deck. And if you sent in your application that came with the TV Magic decks, to join Brodien's TV Magic Club, you got offers for other books and tricks. One of those booklets was this one, called ONE HUNDRED AND ONE CARD TRICKS. The tricks in the 39 page booklet are sleight-free "self-working" card effects. A few of them are among those "beginner's" tricks that I still like to show to lay audiences every now and then, so I can remember that simple self-working magic can also be very effective.The booklet is in very good condition, no tears or significant bends/creases. It does have 18 pen "check marks" next to certain trick names in the first 9 pages. (I assume the young owner was marking the tricks he/she liked, and soon realized that he/she was marking almost all of them! So no marks after page 9 -- see the photo of the pen mark next to the name, and imagine about 2-3 of these on each of the first nine pages of the booklet).
