Description: 1:18 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air Convertible – Yellow w/White Top Introduced in 1950, the Chevrolet Bel Air was offered only as a 2-door hardtop. The Bel Air was extended to the two and four door sedan and convertible in 1953. The styling was revamped for 1955 along with the introduction of Chevrolet’s first modern overhead valve V-8 engine. The combination of fresh styling along with a V-8 engine, the Bel Air was aptly billed as the “Hot One” in the company’s advertising campaign. Offered here in 1:18 scale is the 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air convertible by Motor Max in yellow. The top was painted white to set it apart from the others. It was originally yellow. The model comes with a boot (also painted white) so that it can be display with the top up or down. The hood opens to show the V-8 engineThe doors open to a nicely detailed interiorThe front wheels turn with the steering wheelReal rubber tiresThe trunk does not open It is a lot of model that measures about 10-½ inches bumper to bumper.
