Description: The Patrie, an airship built for the French army by Lebaudy Frères and designed by Henri Julliot, was completed in November 1906 as the first military-specific airship. After successful maneuvers in 1907, it transferred to Verdun but became stranded due to a mechanical fault. On November 30, 1907, a storm tore it loose, and it drifted over the English Channel and Ireland before being lost over the Atlantic Ocean, never to be seen again. Carefully protected in a polysleeve, toploader, and sturdy cardboard. Securely packaged and shipped with tracking for added assurance. We take pride in providing trusted customer service.
