He is a football star on the Boston University team, having held the berth as center for the past two years. He is 22 years old, and is a Senior at the University. He comes from Framingham, Mass. It seems that two years ago, while holding a summer position as an aluminum salesman in Rhode Island he decided to enter the ministry; having been religiously inclined all his life. He often substituted during the vacation for ministers who were away on vacations. His pedagogical ability attracted the attention of high members of the Methodist Church and he was given a local ministers appointment last April at the Methodist Church General Conference held in Brookline, Massachusetts, and was designated to take charge of the Berlin church for one year. In April, 1926, he will be accorded a high honor by the church when he will receive his deacons orders and made a regular minister. This is significant because he is not studying at the School of Theology but at the College of Liberal Arts, from which he graduates in June with a B.S. degree.
