Preserved since 1943, these Unique, Zinc Coated Steel Pennies were an Emergency Issue by an Act of Congress in order to Preserve Copper for WWll. This Unique One Cent has Full Zinc Brilliance, and 100% Natural, Swirling Mint Luster! I consider my Gem BU’s to be My Best, but Still Less Than the Perfect Grade. My Gem BU’s all have 100% Natural Red, Swirling Mint Luster, Smooth Surfaces and No Finger Marks. They also may have a tiny carbon spot or two and/or minor Bag Nicks, so please see the Picture. I do also have a ’Full Red' Brilliant Uncirculated Line (Green Backgrounds); and a ’Near Full Red’ Brilliant Uncirculated (Burgundy color Backgrounds)- both of which are slightly Cheaper, and still Very High Quality!
