Description: a 48 page booklet published by General Motors Corporation in 1945. It features a character called "Primitive Pete" (copyrighted in 1943) created by the Walt Disney Corporation. Originally this was published for the Armed Services to help train all the mechanics needed to maintain war materiel. The full title is ABC's of Hand Tools Their Correct Usage and Care. The foreward states "This book was prepared originally in slightly different form for use by the Armed Forces of the United States....It is not a theoretical textbook. It is more of a lecture from a good mechanic with years of practical experience in the shop. The illustrations carry much of the story." Good condition, some edge wear and a crease on the upper right of the front cover. Buyer pays cost of media mail or Ground advantage (with stiff support), which ever is less.
