Nice clean CA plate set. DMV clear as I tried to put them on my 1955 Chevy but they would not allow it as the stickers on the rear plate were from 1968 and 1969. Not sure why the person who had these back in the day put a date sticker where the month sticker should be....? Anyway, if you have a 1968 or 1969 vehicle I am pretty sure you can register these plates to your car. The DMV seems not to know their own rules though, it will take some paperwork on your part and a trip or two to the DMV. I finally said screw this and just ordered new black plates that were personalized. 30 day return allowed for any reason. Ships to USA lower 48 states only. And these have not been cleaned or repainted in any way, just as I got them, original steel plates. They are DMV cleared, I checked. Thanks...!
