The show would feature Roy Orbison, The Searchers, Freddie and the Dreamers, Brian Poole and the Tremeloes, Cherry Roland, Tony Marsh, Bob Luman, Sons of the Piltdown Men, along with Gary and Lee. Orbison would start the year off with his first British tour headlining for the Beatles, but as the Beatles popularity grew and grew, Roy would find himself “co-headlining” or actually opening up for the upstart Beatles. Roys dates with the Beatles would last from May 18 to June 9, and then on September 14 Roy would again headline this show until October 6. A great looking ticket from a truly legendary performer along with a slew of both popular and obscure acts on the bill. A must have for any Roy Orbison or early rock and roll fan.
