Description: A lovely set of 4 7.5” porcelain bread and butter/dessert plates from the Limoges region of France made by the Theodore Haviland Company. These plates feature a glazed white background adorned with dainty pink roses and yellow flowers. There are 2 sets of back marks on these plates: the first indicates they were made by the Theodore Haviland Company between 1903 and 1925. The second set of marks indicates this pattern was specifically made to be sold in the United States by the Simmons Hardware Company in St Louis which operated between 1878 and 1939.These plates have been lovingly stored in a smoke free home.
