Each redemption card had a code for a randomly selected Blue Refractor to the collector's account Only the 165 unautographed First Year Players (cards #166-#330) had a Blue Refractor. Collectors had until July 31st, 2005 to claim their Blue Refractor. the card they received would be encased in a plastic "slab" similar to an eTopps card -- hence the "Uncirculated" part. Since so few Blue Refractors were claimed, and what few claimed were never delivered, in-hand Blue Refractors are not frequently seen.
