Description: EAPG castor condiment set from the latter half of the 1800s, between 1855 and 1889. I believe this is a Ashman pattern, made by Adams & Co.. The base is similar to their Crossroads Crossbar pattern, but this one has a leaf pattern in the center on each side. It features a beautiful apple green shaker and mustard bottle with uranium, which is what causes the luminescent green when under UV or black light. It's almost a mint green under normal lighting. In amber is an oil bottle with clear glass stopper and another mustard bottle. The base is thick and a deep amber color in great shape. I believe the flip lids on the mustard bottles are original. However, I think the shaker top is not. Adams & Co. was founded in 1851 in Pittsburgh, PA and quickly became one of the largest factories in the area. They operated until 1892. The entire set stands about 10" and weighs almost 3.5 lbs.
