Description: This 19" long carved wood marionette has an unusual full, 3-dimensional body. She even has a padded rear ! She has hand drawn features and yarn hair. The message written on the control which accompanied her describes her as part of a 1936-37 WPA project made at Lincoln Park in Chicago, and carved by a man named Ned Doll. The control is part of the listing and will be included with the doll. The doll and control are missing their strings. (The stand is for display only and is not included in the listing.) I am also auctioning the two other marionettes which came with her and do combine shipping.
