Description: Nice antique cast iron window guard. Has a nice decorative clover leaf and flora de Lis design. This grill covered an eyebrow window in the second story of a Greek Revival home. They were on all of the 2nd floor windows. This window guard is in a black worn finish with surface rust and a little paint spatter. The piece shows wear consistent with age and usage, however, is a good condition, no cracks brakes or pieces missing. The end tabs are complete. This grate would work well in a fireplace or in a wall for heat or cold air vent, etc. Please look over the pictures and ask any questions if needed. Thanks for looking!
