Description: Here is a pleasing and quite large "plate" of Apophyllite, most of the blocky crystal habit, with some minor Stilbite crystals dispersed here and there. The Apophyllite shows a nice light green color and the specimen is in very good condition. Please keep in mind that the green is a bit more vibrant than the photo's show, as the color becomes more bright with indoor light, versus outdoor in the sun as I depicted here. There is a decent amount of Apophyllite from India on the market, but good larger plates are less common. This would be a beautiful interior decoration piece, due to size as well as the pleasing pastel green color. The specimen is 2 lb and 3 7/8 oz, or 1.018 kg. The size is 6x4x2 inch. Please be advised, I ship with Priority, Medium box, due to it's size.
