The satin urethane finish on the back of the neck is silky smooth for maximum playability. The 12-16" compound radius maple fingerboard has a comfortable rolled edge, 24 jumbo frets, and offset black dot inlays for a speedy design. The DK24 handles heavy riffs, superb leads, and clear clean tones thanks to the Seymour Duncan Full Shred bridge pickup and Seymour Duncan Alnico II Pro APH-1N (*1) neck pickup. The 5-way blade switching, volume control (500K EVH Bourns low friction potentiometer), and No Load tone control allow for a variety of tones. The No Load tone control operates as a normal tone control from position 1 to 9, and is disconnected from the circuit at position 10, providing a clear sound that allows the guitar's true tone to shine through. The Pro-Mod DK24 HH FR M Mahogany with Quilt Maple is equipped with a Floyd Rose 1000 Series double-lock tremolo bridge for tuning stability and arm up.
