Description: Comoy's WWI Estate pipe with case (1918) This is a WWI Comoy's pipe ! It's a hundred-year-old pipe that you're enjoying owning, no less! Dating elements : The straight ‘London Made’ stamp (on one or two lines) appeared on Comoy pipes between around 1902 and 1915. The hallmark on the ring indicates the year 1918 which would be consistent with the fact that there was no C on the pipe at that date, and with the writing of ‘Comoy's’. The ‘C’ logo inlaid on the side of the pipe was not introduced until around 1919. Note that the top of the bowl was little damaged, but not burnt from the inside (it probably fell to the ground). This in no way prevents it from being smoked.
