Superb vintage collection of 54 original hardcover volumes of history's greatest writers and works. Great great addition to any book collection. Set has been painstakingly cared for and displayed in my various homes for the last 40 years, hard to let them go, but just time to clear things out and share this great set with a whole new household. Beautiful display set as you can see in my pictures. Books have been shelved and displayed in pet free, smoke free home and aside from three volumes that my kids spilled water on years and years ago, they are in like new condition. The three books in question, #3, #8 and #36 had the spill, so you can see the staining (see detailed pictures), those volumes otherwise still in very condition with the binding, pages, cover, etc. All other volumes in great shape, backing, pages, covers, etc. See all pictures for exact detail and conditions.
