The majority of the fleet are late model Volvo and Dennis Plaxtons as well as late model Bova and Scania Irizars. The Company was established in 1913, and employs over 320 people in its three locations.They are engaged on British and Continental Holiday tours throughout the year, plus excursions and tours, express services, private hire and corporate conferences and exhibition work. In the fleet there are three special conference liners for corporate work, and also for carrying Aston Villa, West Bromwich Albion and Bournemouth football clubs.In 1995/96 Flights Coach Travel were awarded Coach Operator of the Year. Flights have competed many times in the British Coach Rallies winning many major awards. In 1997, they won Coach of the Year with a 32 seat special coach, and a 49 seat model was awarded Top Touring Coach of the Year.This great looking, hard to find 1:76 model, made in 2000, comes with a numbered Limited Edition Certificate Card in a plastic display case that is still sealed.
