This is the best version of the SB16 card in my opinion, the earlier non-PNP (plug and Play) version. It is all configurable with hardware jumper switches, no plug n play software / bios needed to set hardware address IRQ, DMA, IO etc., no drivers or operating system changing parameters when it wants to. The card has some CD-ROM headers which I haven't used. Had a creative CD-ROM drive with it years ago but haven't tested the others. The card is in great shape. Connectors are not damaged or strained, sound is clear, no crackling or distortion, fully functional. I have another one in my computer, no longer going to keep this one.
