Description: A sang of cowboys 1c. by Roar (Telly Savalas) and his sidekick Mobeetie (Warren Oates), wander into Cimarron and start shooting up the town, Marshal Jim Crown (Stuart Whitman) gets the drop on the saddle tramps and locks them up. Shortly after Bear and his band of hellraisers get released, their cattle rancher boss fires them after learning that Congress had cancelled U.S. Government leases on land held by the cattlemen. Bear and his men blame the farmers for their troubles and Marshal Crown finds himself caught between an army of angry cattlemen and determined homesteading farmers in what is to become The Battleground.
