Description: Misprint Edition: 1 of 1 (cut into two different sizes) These rare set of books belong to the Esquire Magazine Family & Company Library. David A. Smart, Alfred Smart. During the late 1950s these books were purchased at an estate auction and later stamped by the winning owner "Edward W. Seltzer".These books were removed from the original archive because of the misprinted error. They are filled with American History, Advertisement, Fashion, WW2 Artwork, Varga Pinup Girls and WW2 propaganda. All the original gatefold Varga Pinup Girls are intact including the calendar and cut out cards. Only one Varga girl is damaged - split down the middle. The artwork chosen for each monthly-magazine issue is custom and different from public release.Other Esquire Company Books have a name printed (company member) and cut into a different size.During the 1940s only two or three people had ownership of these books.Confirmed by email - Smart Family. Please check the last two photos for the current archive shown by "Design Sponge".
