Description: Georgian Creamer Sterling Silver 1792 London Lion Crest Late 18th century English sterling silver creamer, having applied banded border and flat handle, and decorated with engraved patterns around the body. On the front, there is a shield form cartouche, featuring an engraved Double-Headed Rampant Lion crest. Made in London, 1792. Maker's mark is partially rubbed. This darling Georgian era creamer is 4 3/4" tall to the tip of the handle, 4 3/4" wide across the handle and the spout, weighing 120.9 grams or 3.9 ozs Troy. The excellent original condition and clear, crisp detail, with no removals, repairs or alterations, make this an especially attractive offering.
