Once, the glazing sh...27 Apr 18I had 3 of these skylights on my roof for 20 years with very minor issues... Once, the glazing shifted on one the skylights and I had to unscrew the frame that held the glazing down, relocate the glazing and then re-tighten the frame. My roofer (old and new) said he would not warranty the self flashing skylights since the torch down might not adhere to the flashing year after year. After 20 years they looked fine and no leaks, but when I opted to a 40+ year PVC roofing system I decided to swap out the self flashing with the curb flashed Gordon Skylight. Since the PVC rolls up the curb I am quite confident my new Gordon Skylights will last 40+ years, with no cracking. Great product! BTW my old skylights were removed from the alley only hours after I placed them there with a free sticker.I purchased 2 of these in 2006 (11 years ago) and they look as good today as they did when brand ...5 Mar 17I purchased 2 of these in 2006 (11 years ago) and they look as good today as they did when brand new. We have even had quite a few really bad hail storms since they were installed and I have no complaints.
