Description: Beautiful Hamer Chaparral from the late 80s. The Finish is cool I think it’s call Iridescent or Hologram Flake. Beautiful paint job. The neck is straight as an arrow, plenty of fret life left, and excellent playability and low action. Fretboard is true ebony wood and boomerang mother of pearl inlays. I believe the Seymour Duncan pickups were original, but a special order upgrade direct from Hamer at the time, they sound great!! The case has seen better days, some of the cushioning is coming apart but could easily be glued back together with minimal effort. The latches all work but the outside has some wear and some places are coming undone a little. I think it’s fair to say no problem as an under the bed case, could even go on a road trip but probably not gig with it. The guitar is in great shape for its age! Minor nicks and marks, typical light swirling, very light crack by neck pocket which is pictured, it is in the finish only for sure, and very thin and light, the back of neck has some sweat stains they are NOT cracks of any kind. This finish, with these original pickups is extremely rare. Selling to fund another purchase so no trades please. Please ask all questions before bidding!
