Description: Submitted for your review is a Hasbro International Modern Action Man James Bond - Agent 007 Thunderball Set - 1997 Fully Articulated 12" Body Includes An Actual Frame From The Film Limited Edition Brand New Factory Sealed Box The original Action Man is a line of action figures that were produced by Palitoy in the UK and Australia from 1966–1984. They were licensed copies of Hasbro's popular US GI Joe line, which were released in 1964. In 1966, Action Man was launched in the UK to replicate the success of Hasbro US's release in 1964 of America's "movable fighting man", GI Joe. That's why I refer to him as GI Joe's British cousin. Palitoy originally produced the majority of the Action Man figure and sets to be virtually identical in appearance to those issued in the US issued from 1966 to 1984. The modern day Action Man 12" line of action figures were produced by Hasbro International from 1993 to 2009. This second generation Action Man franchise was fairly successful and eventually grew to become a multimedia franchise consisting of toys, books, video games, television shows, animated films, and a comic book series. You are bidding on a Hasbro International 12" scale James Bond - Agent 007 as portrayed in the Thunderball movie. This fully articulated 1/6 figure is dressed in a scuba top, white shorts, diving mask, blue flippers, Walther PPK pistol, spear gun, knife with scabbard, watch and film frame. Item is brand new and has never been removed from a mint - near mint factory sealed box. There is little to no shelf wear and the box displays beautifully. This will make the perfect gift for any kid aged 4 years and older. WARNING - PLEASE READ: I have sold many action figures with scuba suits over the course of the last several years. Many have had issues with the deterioration of the scuba suit. In fact, most of the current eBay listings show similar deterioration. Such is the case with the scuba top included in this set, which appears a bit chalky. The box states that the scuba top is made from natural latex. There are several replacement scuba suits available online, if one cares to do so. All the other accessories are new, having never been removed from the box and are in mint condition.
