Mystery writer Marian Carstairs is hard at work trying to finish her latest novel. Her three children meanwhile are entertaining themselves trying to solve a murder in their own neighborhood. In between gathering clues, the kids play matchmaker by trying to fix up their widowed mom with the handsome detective investigating the case. The movie was made in 1946. It is in black & white and runs 90 minutes. Two sources were used to restore this movie. The source that had the highest quality picture and sound was missing sections of 5 different scenes. So the missing sections were replaced with the other source. This happens about 5 times and the quality will change for just a few seconds or a minute at the most. We always strive for quality.
