Description: Antique Judaica Tzedakah charity collection box with decorative hand engraving. This Austrian or German silver box is marked 13 loth silver content. Note the large coin hole in the lid- definitely larger than today's. It was originally meant to be used by children to collect money for charity. The lock would insure it arrived intact! Circa late 19th to early 20th century. It measures 3" high with a diameter of 2.25" at the base. It is unmarked and in good antique condition. There is no lock with this item. Please ask questions.
