The 1989-1990 American made Squiers... show the following: Chronologically... in this order. 4 digit black serial on headstock (front) 5 digit serial on bolt plate 6 digit serial on bolt plate "E" series style serial like Fender in 1989 "N" series style serial like Fender for 1990 Ours is the original 5 digit plate numbered less than 250th in production.
