Description: I really don't know what this is but I see some listed like it . It is made of brass and like China / porcelain and hand painted .The hinge is solid and the clasp fits in it's closure side just like it should . The two brass rim rings fit together straight all the way around with no gaps . One rim has a tiny discoloration spot see photo # 4 . I don't see any makings or other inscriptions . The clasp is a little bow . The brass has a really fancy and intricate pattern and the paint is very nice .I feel like it has some age to it .
