Description: This listing is for a Pair (M/F) Lamprologus Ocellatus “Blue” that are around 1” with the female being smaller. These little guys and gals are already pairing off. Lamprologus Ocellatus are a species of shell dwelling African cichlid endemic to Lake Tanganyika in East Africa. They are a popular aquarium choice due to their small size, appearance, intelligence and overall personality. These fish, like all shell dwellers, live in shells within colonies amongst each other and raise their young in the shells. Best kept in a species only tank or with fish close to their size or other Tanganyikans as Malawian Cichlids will get too large to be tank mates.
