This is a vintage old postcard (1895-1907) showing the status of king Victor Emmanuel II in Lucca, Italy. The statue was open in 1895 and Italy adopted divided back postcards in 1907. Undivided back. Printed by E. Ragozinio - Naples Signed by W. R. Gatt - Lt. William Raphael Gatt - was in the Royal Malta Artillery and by mid-September 1915 was en-route to Egypt for service in Gallipoli. Subsequently, he became Adjutant and then Commandant of the Malta PoW Camps. Excellent Vintage condition. Please note: - I do not make money on shipping, nor do I have a handling charge.
