Description: This listing is for a 5.85 oz. matrix specimen with one side coated in marcasite crystals. The last photos were taken in sunlight. The quarry this specimen came from is located near Milwaukee in Racine Wisconsin. It's referred to as the Vulcan Materials Quarry, but I can find no other information about it. I don't know if the quarry is still in use, but Wisconsin rockhounds think it is the "go to site" for marcasite in Wisconsin.
