Description: This is a pair of vintage globe speakers. Very neat and retro looking. I could not find a maker mark on them, and no emblems but seems like they are attributed to Morse Electrophonic. The speakers work and sound fine. Both are equally loud and clear. I'd say they're more for looks than sound. However, I found that if they are set at shoulder height and 8-10 feet apart against a wall and one stands in the middle of them, they do give off a surround sound effect like there is another speaker in the wall. The tops of the globes look dusty, or the adhesive under the fabric is fading. The stands are not original. They are cast iron stands and are very sturdy. From what I've read, some people have removed the speaker globes from the stands and hang them from the ceiling. Ships insured to 48 Cont. US only.
