Metroid Dread: Special Edition, Nintendo Switch Japanese Ver. works on US Switch

Description: Metroid Dread: Special Edition (Nintendo Switch, 2021) Japanese Version, ships within the US. Brand new, unopened copy of the Japanese Special Edition of Metroid Dread. Selling this copy as I didn't expect it to be delivered (was delayed) and ordered a different one. The Nintendo Switch does not region lock games outside of the China version Switch and games, so you should be able to play this game without issue on any non-Chinese Nintendo Switch. As I mentioned before, I have another Japanese copy of the game, and I can verify that I have already played it on my US version of the Switch. In fact, I didn't even have to change the language settings, as the game is originally dubbed in English, and the in-game text was already set to English. I assume it just automatically detects your system's language settings when you load the game. There are a few differences between the US Special Edition and Japanese Special edition. The Metroid Dread game case is, of course, in Japanese. The five art cards showing the package/box art for each of the main series Metroid games use the Japanese box art of the games (Dread box art is the same in the US and Japan). Aside from that, the steel game case just has a small amount of Japanese text instead of English text on the back, so it's mostly the same. The artbook consists of almost entirely concept art and other illustrations with virtually no text, although it seems that the Japanese artbook, like the art cards, uses the Japanese box art for the games as well. I'd recommend waiting to look through the artbook until you play through the game, as there are some (mostly minor) spoilers for the game.
