Description: In 1990, the Mexican postal service decided to test ATM postage vending machines made by the Klüssendorf company of Germany. The first machines were installed onlly in one wealthy area of the capital as well as the international airport. They had 13 buttons pre-programmed for the main franking values at that time, although other values from 5 to 9995 pesos could be printed on demand. The feed mechanism of the machine used roller traction for the roles of 2000 labels, each of which includes two circular holes, resulting in each printed stamp having two semi circles at the top and two in the lower part. There were faint control nuber on the back showing how many labels were left in the roll. Once cut and issued by the machine, the stamp size was 43 x 25.5 mm. Here we have four mint examples of these first labels with a higher face value( the design was later changed, and the machines were take out of service within a few years. _gsrx_vers_1678 (GS 9.8.2 (1678))
