Description: I am listing two (2) American illustrations separately. This one is 20 x 24', needs conservation. Decades ago, I bought a great deal of similar material at the Fred Ray estate sale. A number of his pieces were for stories in Classic Comics and similar. This painting is just like one Ray would have painted for his Valley Forge material, but this is probably a Saratoga scene by the Hudson River.
