It was the 5th human spaceflight of Project Apollo and the 3rd voyage to the Moon. Launched on 16 Jul 1969, it carried Mission Commander Neil Alden Armstrong, Command Module Pilot Michael Collins, and Lunar Module Pilot Edwin Eugene 'Buzz' Aldrin, Jr. On 20th July, Armstrong and Aldrin became the first humans to walk on the Moon. The envelope has embedded within it a 3.25-inch by 3-inch, METAL, replica of the plaque left on the lunar surface by Apollo XI. The envelope also carries a superb drawing of the 'Stars & Stripes' being planted on the moon along with those immortal words from Neil Armstrong.
