It is one of those banks whose note descriptions have come from contemporary documents and publications, with none having actually been seen directly by Haxby. The note depicts a Native American family and a teacher with students flanking a large shield with a 5 on it at center. A portrait of Andrew Jackson is at left and the state Comptroller's Office die is at right. The note is printed on India paper mounted on cardstock with four POCs in the signature lines. A single $5, almost certainly this note, appeared in the 1990 ABNCo Archives sale. It is highly likely that this note is unique in Proof form. Please take a look at the photos.
