Description: eBay Listing Template r1 ONE CIRCA 1900 VINTAGE JAPANNED 'T' CABINET LATCH with KEEPER (40817) Vintage: Acquired six Japanned cast steel cabinet latches with matching keepers. Circa 1900-1910. T knobs turn easily allowing the door to be opened. Springs are still functioning without sticking on each latch, overall width of each set when both pieces are in place is 2 5/8 inches, height is about 1 1/2" inches. The box itself measurers 1 5/8" on the side with the screws and about 2 1/4" along the other edge. We have cleaned the surface and applied a coat of clear lacquer. Very nice and very old Japanned latches with matching keepers! The Japanned finish is more faced on some than others, but overall still perceptible.
