Description: This is a pair of 5.5 inch Sterling silver spoons with a total weight of 31.9 grams. They have gold dipped Bowls that are engraved Oct. 4th 1849-99. My best guess is this is another 50 year wedding anniversary set from my late relatives. It always blows my mind when I hear of people being married for 50 years, even back then, and more especially now. I can't make out the hallmark on the back, but they are stamped STERLING. Beautiful handles with details on the back sides as well. One of the spoons is a deeper gold tone, more evident on the back side. These would make a neat anniversary or birthday gift for a couple celebrating October 4th.
