Description: Pelargonium worcesterae is a Pelargonium from the Eastern Cape, South Africa. It is primarily a summer grower, but will continue to grow during winter with water. It produces flushes of heart-shaped, somewhat succulent leaves on short stems, and will develop small, round underground tubers that can be propagated. It is easy to grow in a variety of well-drained soil mixes, tolerant of both some drought and frequent water. Five seeds from 2024. Sow seeds in spring with night temperatures in the 50-65 F range. The soil mix should be somewhat well-drained (perlite or pumice are good additives). Each seed is actually contained within a husk with a split down the side, and for best results, remove the seed itself by gently pushing on the ends of the husk and teasing the seed out.
