This has produced a rig that is known well with not just the old timers in the Adirondacks of upstate NY, but many of the younger generations are finding it to be unbeatable on a perch bite. This updated version uses 100% fluorocarbon leaders, quality hardware, and hand tied flies ensuring that this rig is both effective and durable. We routinely take lake trout on this rig while they are chasing the perch we are fishing for with ease. Making for great days on the ice. This is a duel (2 fly) rig that routinely produces doubles. Paired with a 1 oz. bass casting sinker and you get down fast, and keep the school there while getting more fish. Fishing being the passion that it is for Roger, he could not help but offer what he has perfected to other enthusiasts. Tipped with a small grub or a perch eye (to provide scent), the days of getting skunked on the ice are going to be much fewer and further between.
