Description: This rather uncommon cover(very clean, and with a 2-page letter in Chinese!; envelope does have some minor creases) was sent from an address across from Pupung Station, Korea(present-day North Korea; then occupied by the Japanese), to Kaishu, Korea, on January 24, 1943! The maroon, 5-Sen Japanese definitive is in very fine condition! The CDS from the Peihoku/P'yongbuk Line, Pupung P.O. is pretty good, but light/faded and smudged in some places. Noted imperfections aside, this remains a a really nifty piece of Korean, Japanese, and ethnic Chinese postal history!
