Rare 1993 Psychic TV/Genesis P-Orridge Poster ltd/#ed only 100 copies

You will receive one that is like it--it may have a different number; however, it is as authentic as the poster shown. OVERVIEWVery rare PSYCHIC TV/GENESIS P-ORRIDGE poster from 1993. This was just after the UK raids when GPO lived in Northern California on the West Coast. This was before his marriage to Miss Jackie. GPO was doing a lot of spoken word work at this time. The poster was for an event I conceived, "Ambient Indoctrination." It was inspired by GPO's spoken word work at the time as well as the solid electronic/ambient music that was evolving at the time. The poster was meant to be an artifact of this event. HISTORY Back story: in 1993 I was very interested in the work of Genesis P-Orridge and Psychic TV. In 1993, I met GPO. I ended up putting on two shows in Eugene, Oregon, at the WOW Hall. One in 1993 and one in 1994. For the first show, Ambient Indoctrination, I had a limited edition of 100 posters printed up; I commissioned an original design from my friend, Rik Skibinski, for the show. ABOUT THE LIMITATIONS A total of 105 posters were produced.5 were Artists' Proofs, numbered, and labeled as such.These were signed by all involved. 100 posters were numbered. 24-100 were not signed by anyone, and their limitation was numbered in dark ball point ink in the lower right hand portion of the poster in the white margin. This is the type of poster you are bidding on. Posters 1-23 were signed by GPO, XKP, and Rik Skibinski (the artist). These were numbered in the lower left part of the image and in white ink. You are NOT buying a signed poster here. Signed versions are for sale in a different listing. I have sold, given away, and gifted very few of the other posters. Nobody else has these because I commissioned the original art work, had them printed, and witnessed them in person 20 years ago. These are rare, especially since they feature an artist who was not from the PTV or industrial culture stable. GPO's 40+ years history in industrial music, performance art, rave culture, and punk-related materials is notable. While folks may argue over his impact and relevance, GPO's signed, limited, and numbered work is pretty rare. I have listed some of the signed posters elsewhere.
