Description: Up for sale here is this recap kit for a pair of Klipsch Heresy speakers. This will let you completely recap two (2) Klipsch Heresy I speakers. These are brand new Supertech MPT (metallized polypropylene film) capacitors, which are super-high-quality and will sound nice and clear. This kit is for the original Klipsch Heresy speakers. If you have the Heresy II speakers, that kit is here. There are many different crossover designs for the Klipsch Heresy speakers. The Type AA crossovers use a total of two 13 uf caps and two 2 uf caps. The Type C crossovers use a total of two 2 uf caps and two 1 uf caps. The Type D and Type E crossovers use a total of four 2 uf caps. The Type E-2 crossovers use a total of two 33 uf caps and four 2 uf caps. The Type HIE crossovers use a total of two 8 uf caps and four 2 uf caps. You will need to open up your speakers to see which crossover version you have. This listing is set up so you can select whichever set of caps you need. These are fairly easy to install as long as you know what you're doing. You will need a decent soldering iron, solder, a Philips and/or flathead screwdriver, wire cutters, and a hot glue gun or rubber cement to aid in mounting the caps. The new caps are larger than the originals, because they are much higher-quality. They will still fit just fine.
