Description: Savage Model 1899 TAKEDOWN Rifle Store Hang Tag - NOT AN ORIGINAL. Includes instructions for “Taking Apart and Assembly”. Pictures and text. Also includes cleaning instructions which mention obtaining solvents from any druggist and includes a formula to make your own cleaning solvent. Bi-fold design. Pretty neat. This tag dates from around 1915 to the mid 1920’s. Items are printed on high resolution 28# paper. Where proper to match the original, heavy stock high resolution card stock is used. I only use archival inks also. For a few items 20# high resolution paper is used to match the original items paper. All paper and card stock comes from a publish house paper supplier not big box stores. All of my items are done from never copyrighted originals. I only do pre-1978 items as that is the year that automatic copyrights went into affect. Thus all my items are legally made from Public Domain originals under the law. I do not reprint or sell gunsmith manuals as those are copyrighted materials.
