Description: This 16" antique Schoenhut wooden girl doll is about as perfect as you can get for being well over 100 years old. She's an early doll with the Schoenhut markings pressed directly onto her back rather than the sticker decal. She has a carved face with painted facial features. She has brown eyes and her original mohair wig. Her wooden spring jointed body is in excellent condition. Good and clean with very minor wear. She wears a blue navy dress with red trim and of course her one piece undies and red Schoenhut shoes with the holes in the bottom. Under a black light you can see a few minor paint rubs on her hairline, the tip of her nose, and on one cheek that you don't really notice with the naked eye, but no repaint or repairs. You may never find another Schoenhut doll in such phenomenal condition. She's exceptional! Listing is for doll only. Stand and other props are not included.
