Description: HILTON HEAD HUMANE (HHH)THRIFT SPODE BLUE ROOM COLLECTION "MAY" TEAPOT DESCRIPTION: This lovely teapot from Spode is a part of their Blue Room Collection and identified as the "May" teapot. It is oval in shape and measures approximately 11" wide from spout to end of handle; 6 1/2" wide at pot base; 4 3/4" deep; 4 1/2" tall without lid and 6 1/2" tall with lid. The Spode Blue Room Collection identification is stamped on the bottom; also stamped there is the first introduction date: c 1826; the fact that this design was reproduced from a hand engraved copper plate and the Spode stamp with place of production. This 2 piece teapot is in excellent condition with no cracks; chips; repairs or other blemishes noted. Please review the photographs closely and contact us with any questions.
