In 1965, Mr. Burtman merged Stocking Parade with his High Heels magazine. This issue lives up to its name, with an assortment of stockings on shapely legs, including RHT, FF, seamed tights, patterned, and fishnets. Just about every picture in this issue shows pretty women in hosiery. Most of the magazine consists of short pictorials of individual models. The longest of these shows exotic Toni Troy in full-fashioned and patterned stockings and shiny black high-heel pumps, two-tone knee boots and mules. The optimized version of Stocking Parade 4 consists of more than 150 pages of pinup photos and drawings. Mr. & Mrs. Biven This all-too-short comic story of 10 panels from the early years of Mr. Stanton's last period has a quick, sketchy quality. The illustrations may have been done in watercolor, but the lines and shapes are powerful and precise in this obscure, tiny gem. A famous movie star, Mr. Biven explains to his glamorous spouse that the young women he charms at parties are cousins and nieces. Extremely skeptical, Mrs. Biven serves her husband a dramatic dish of domestic discipline to stop his eye from wandering.Presented as an optimized ebook that makes the most of the precious vintage content. I adjusted the tonality of the photos. Specks in the photos have been retouched. Although moire has been eliminated from almost all the pictures, a few enlargements of the smallest photos show the halftone screen and have a softer focus. These ebooks could be considered a better read than the originals because the monochrome adjustments brighten and enlarge images and disclose details that are obscured by the sometimes dark or excessively contrasty photo printing in the source materials. The scans were assembled as a book in a publishing program. Then, the file was exported to Acrobat .pdf format. Acrobat files are opened in Acrobat Reader, available without charge for both PC and MAC platforms at adobe.com. You can run an image viewer or video program at the same time you flip through the pages of an ebook in Acrobat Reader. Reader allows zooming and rotation.
