Vintage 1940s Dress Black Tropical Rayon M L Pinup Rockabilly 40s Spots

Description: 1940s floral tropical dress. This casual sleeveless style is likely an altered construction. With its bold pattern and cold rayon, it feels more like a fancier dress that was re-purposed. Buttons down the front. No stretch rayon. No tags. For comparison, shown on dress form with bust of 36"/ w 26" / H 36". Suggest a modern M to L- please review measurements as this is a no stretch fabric and needs to accommodate movement. B 39” W 42” H 46” Length 40” (there is no hem available to let this down - there is an added piece of material at the bottom hem, yet it seems more like structural reinforcement than anything else. It does not fold over from the body of the dress - it is more sewn on the inside hem). Great vintage condition except that there are spots scattered in a few places - see pix - almost as if there was a bleach splatter. Maybe they could be filled in?
